A closed circuit camera system is a system in which the camera is directly connected to the recorder in order to broadcast it over a closed circuit. Since its development in 1942, CCTV has undergone huge changes. What is a closed-circuit camera system? 

CCTV or closed circuit camera system is a system that only records on a particular device and does not use an open network that others can access. There are two types of closed circuit security camera systems: analog and IP (network / digital) 

 

AnalogUe Security Systems 

In analog security systems, DVR takes the video from the camera, compresses it and then saves it to a hard drive for either live viewing or later viewing. This setup allows you to move video over the web for both remote viewing. With the analog system, DVR is responsible for compressing, converting, storing and playing the video. It is also responsible for controlling all the built-in features of the camera, including motion detection, notifications, alarm inputs and more. 

 

IP Security Systems 

IP cameras, like analog systems connected to DVR, are autonomous devices that have the ability to communicate directly over the network without the need for an intermediate system. An IP camera can record video on an internal memory card and a digital recorder known as NVR (Network Video Recorder) and send images directly over the network or over the web. In IP systems, the camera assumes responsibility for DVR, including video compression, conversion and streaming over an internet connection. In this way, the video can be transferred directly to a personal computer or to an NVR (network video recorder). 

 

Computer and internet networks use a contract called TCP/IP, and all devices that are required to communicate on the network must use the same contract. Thus, computers, servers, printers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones and IP cameras can "talk" to each other. TCP/IP, so it allows an IP camera to communicate easily on the network. An IP camera with the convenience of communicating in this way on a computer network, a private network or the internet can be accessed from anywhere in the world. There are no obstacles with the use of digital systems, since the IP cameras connected to the network are independent and have built-in intelligence that allows them to use in various situations.
