Basic Parts of the Camera

Basic Parts of the Camera

We can say that the cameras consist of three basic parts. These are the ones that are going to lenses, body and eyes.

Camera Objective :

The job of the camera objective is to collect the images from the outside world and deliver them to the body of the camera. These images from the camera body are translated into electronic signals thanks to CCDs. There are multiple lenses in the camera objective. One side of these lenses is flat on one side and one side is flat. It is made of glass and breaks a beam of light, reducing it to a point, helping to create the image.

Body :

The camera body is the part where the image is processed and recorded. After the image falling on the CCD is converted into electronic signals, it begins to be processed in the body. This process takes place with the electronic circuits located in the body and is triggered by a button located outside the machine.

Viewfinder :

It is called the small screen, which allows the person to see the image taken by the lens. The position is generally located slightly above the lens. There are ones in color or black and white. There are several commands on the screen below the image. The user uses commands for his or her purpose.

Lenses :

The main task of the lenses is to produce a small image in front of the CCD. Camcorders often have varying focal length lenses. When I say focal length here, what I mean is to determine how narrow or wide the produced image will cover. Lenses; wide angle, narrow angle, normal and changeable focal length.
